Ineligible occupations for subclass 190 in Queensland
The following occupations are ineligible for onshore invitations or nominations by Queensland for subclass 190 during the 2024-25 program year. Candidates interested in these roles should apply for subclass 491 instead, in their EOI and ROI for Queensland nomination.
State Nomination Requirements For Subclass 190 Visa (2024-25 Year)
The Subclass 190 visa is a points-based visa that allows skilled workers nominated by an Australian state or territory government to live and work in Australia as permanent residents. To apply for this visa, you must first secure a nomination from a state or territory government. In addition to meeting the Department of Home Affairs' minimum criteria, each state or territory has its own specific requirements that applicants must fulfill. Understanding these state or territory requirements can be challenging.
