Home Affairs ran massive invitation round last week with invitations issued to a broad range of occupations. So far, we have seen invitations issued to occupations from the below sectors:

  • Chemist

  • Occupational Therapist

  • Registered Nurses

Enrolled Nurse (become eligible with a Diploma course), Occupational Therapist, Sonographer, Food Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientists - all are in high demand and people are receiving consistent PR invitations. There are multiple study options and accredited course, if you don't have the qualification yet and would like become a part of this industry.

  • Early Childhood Teacher

  • University Lecturer

Apart from Early Childhood Teachers, Secondary Teachers are also in high demand. Government has put huge investment in Teaching and Early Childhood sector. You may possibly become an accredited Early childhood Teacher and attain a positive migration skills assessment, upon meeting English requirement and completing an accredited 1 Year Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education course (starting from only $20,650).

To attain a positive migration skills assessment (Must have a positive migration skills assessment to be eligible to apply for Skilled Migration in Australia) for the above mentioned ICT occupations, you must have one of the below:

  • Professional Year Program

  • At least 1 Year post qualification work experience

 

If you haven't studied Bachelor yet or, only a high school graduate, you may also, consider enrolling for an accredited 2 years Diploma of Information Technology (Networking) course starting from only $7,500. You may attain a skills assessment as an Network Planner or Telecommunications Field Engineer upon completing your course. You may attain so, without work experience and also, be eligible for 2 years of Graduate Visa (TR 485).

Most of the applicants with a positive skills assessment from these occupations received PR invitation with only 65 points. Albeit, different states have different requirements, Chefs are in high demand across all Australian states. Recently Chefs received PR invitations from both onshore and offshore with with only 65 points.
