Skilled Migration through Points stream
Skilled Migration through points stream entails visa subclasses 189, 190 and 491.
After attaining a positive migration skills assessment, you can lodge your EOI (expression of interest).
Eligible occupations also can apply for subclass 190 and 491 which are regional sponsorship visa. Along with having a skills assessment and a minimum of 65 points, you also need to meet the state and regional sponsorship criteria for the specific states. Subclass 491 (Family stream)
If you have a positive skills assessment and have an eligible relative living in regional Australia, you may be able to lodge your EOI through the subclass 491 family stream.
Training Visa (Subclass 407)
If you have at least 1 Year relevant work experience in an eligible company, you might be able to apply for a Training visa and work full-time for up to 1 to 2 years.
Temporary Skilled Shortage Visa (Subclass 482)
If you have at least 2 Years of relevant work experience in an eligible company, you might be able to apply for a Training visa and work full-time for up to 2 to 4 years. This 2 years of work experience will be reduced to 1 Year from November 2024. While on this visa, applicants generally accumulate the working years and make it 3 years. Applicants might be able to apply for subclass 186 which is direct employer sponsorship after having 3 years of work experience (At least 20 hours per week).
