Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (subclass 482)
This temporary visa lets an employer sponsor a suitably skilled worker to fill a position they can’t find a suitably skilled Australian to fill. There are 3 different streams for TSS (Temporary Skill Shortage) visa.

To apply for Permanent Employer Nomination scheme, subclass 186, the applicants nominated occupation needs to be in the MLTSSL (Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills list).
However, commencing on 1 July 2022, a person holding a Temporary Skill shortage Visa (subclass 482), if has a nominated occupation in the Short-Term skilled occupation list (STSOL), may be eligible to apply for permanent employer sponsorship (subclass 186) given that,

The applicant was in Australia for a cumulative total of at least 12 months between 1 February 2020 and 14 December 2021, and,
-
Employed by a person actively and lawfully operating a business in Australia at the time the nomination application is made.
